Project* progress at DrupalCon Boston 2008

DrupalCon Boston 2008 gave a healthy shot of good medicine to Drupal's Project module, and Project issue tracking module.

Chad Phillips, Derek Wright, Adam Light and others pitched in to accomplish, among other things:

Drupal Ninja Training -- Boston DrupalCon

I'm happy to report that my session proposal has been accepted for Boston DrupalCon!

The Road from Newbie to Ninja: Drupal Tools and Techniques

The session will be geared towards those just getting started with Drupal development, focusing on getting them the proper orientation to become a top-notch Drupal ninja.

Topics that will be addressed include:

  • Setting up a working LAMP/WAMP/MAMP stack (what Drupal runs on) the easy way.

Project module -- DrupalCon Boston update

Derek and I would like to thank everybody who's pitched in at http://projectmodule.chipin.com/drupalcon-boston-2008-project-module-wor... -- your contributions will help us get a lot done for Project module while we're there!

Please also consider helping Adam Light (aclight) attend the conference: http://www.amacrine.com/drupalcon-2008
Adam is a major contributor to Project module, having spent countless hours writing and reviewing patches -- having him there would be a major plus for us!

ChipIn -- Project Module needs your help!

The funds from this ChipIn will go directly to financing the expenses for key developers of Drupal's project module to attend DrupalCon Boston 2008.
